My background!
As an accomplished information technology professional with a robust cybersecurity knowledge-base and a proven security control background, I am currently earning my Doctor of Computer Science (D.Sc) in Cybersecurity and Information Assurance (IA).
Throughout my professional education and training, I focused on cybersecurity frameworks and security controls used to protect businesses and government organizations. I can coordinate security defense against cybersecurity attacks, and I know how to implement protection of the company’s data that includes intellectual property, private customer information, employ information, vendors, company affiliates and partners. I’m educated on organizational training, with an understanding of how to create a Cybersecurity program. In addition, I have researched cybersecurity compliance and regulatory requirements that include, SOX, PCI-DSS, GDPR, HIPAA, HITECH, COPPA, GLBA, and State Data Breach Laws. I have also trained in, cyber environment defense, which will contribute to a safe environment for businesses, government organizations, and internet users.
I am excited to progress my career prospects within cybersecurity, work, and network with like-minded individuals focused on supporting and training business enterprises and government organizations. I am able to work full-time or part-time within a cybersecurity or consulting contract, as a business system analyst, and as a remote project contract. I am also interested in internships to advance my skills within cybersecurity. I would gladly relocate for the right opportunity.
